FOR ORGANIZATIONS | EMOTIONAL REGULATION FOR PEAK PERFORMANCE
Your people are not underperforming because they lack skill. They are underperforming in the hours after something lands — and nobody is counting those hours.

The visible loss — the sharp reply, the meeting that turned — is the smallest part of the bill. The expensive part is invisible. It is the ninety minutes afterwards when the person is present but not working. The conversation rehearsed on the drive home. The decision taken while still carrying the last one. The message answered from a state nobody chose. Multiply that across a leadership team in a difficult quarter and it stops being a wellbeing question and becomes a capacity question.
Reactive Cost
Reclaiming the hours of output lost between the moment something lands and the moment a person is fully working again.
Decision Integrity
Protecting the quality of judgement at precisely the moments when pressure makes it least reliable.
Sustained Capacity
Converting peak performance from something produced in bursts into something that holds across the season.
Nobody in the organisation is measuring the second and third hours.
They are the most expensive hours you have.
Where this shows up
SITUATION
The leadership team in a hard quarter — the pressure at the top is transmitted downward within hours, and by Thursday the whole organisation is operating from it.
WHAT CHANGES
The layer that sets the emotional weather stops setting it accidentally.
SITUATION
Client-facing and commercial teams — absorbing rejection, escalation and blame as a daily condition, with the next call starting before the last one has cleared.
WHAT CHANGES
They arrive at each conversation clean, rather than carrying the previous three.
SITUATION
High-consequence operational roles — where one decision taken in a reactive state is expensive, and sometimes irreversible.
WHAT CHANGES
Judgement holds at exactly the moment it is normally least reliable.
SITUATION
Your best performers, quietly depleting — the people who never complain, always deliver, and are the most expensive to replace.
WHAT CHANGES
The cost of their performance stops being paid out of their reserves.
This is not an employee wellbeing initiative. It is a performance one, and the numbers sit in retention, in rework, and in decisions you had to make twice.
WHAT THIS IS NOT
Composure is not regulation. A person who does not visibly move, and inside whom everything is moving, is paying twice — once for the reaction, and again to conceal it. That arrangement holds until the day they are tired, and then it fails over something small.
Suppression is not regulation. What gets pushed down is not gone. It is stored. And what is stored daily eventually hardens into a permanent feature of how someone operates.
The aim is not to feel less. It is to receive what arrives at full strength — heard accurately, registered completely — and not be converted by it.
We are not building a wall. A wall does not feel the wind, and it fails at the fourteenth small blow rather than the first large one.
Notice a reaction while it is forming, early enough for it to still be a choice
Stay effective in the hour after something lands, instead of losing it
Make decisions under pressure from a chosen state rather than a carried one
Receive criticism, escalation and rejection accurately, without it setting the tone of the day
Recover from a difficult exchange in minutes rather than days
Read what is happening emotionally in a room without being moved by it
Hold their standard across the whole season without paying for it afterwards
THE 2 DAYS
Day One — Where You Actually Moved: What specifically moves me, what does it cost me in hours and in judgement, and why has what I have been doing about it not worked?
Day Two — What To Do In The Moment: How do I work the moment itself, what do I do with what I am already carrying, and how do I recover deliberately instead of waiting it out?
Session content is detailed in the proposal, not on this page.
The thirty days after
Regulation is not understood into place. It is practised, on real pressure, over weeks — which is why the programme does not end when the room does.
Field Application: Running the practice for thirty days on the participant's own live pressure, with a short daily observation record that takes minutes rather than discipline.
The Clinic: Reconvening virtually for two hours to work what held, diagnose what did not, and correct it while the habit is still forming.
Manager Visibility: Equipping line managers to see the shift — in recovery time, in the quality of decisions made under pressure, in the meetings that no longer turn.
Two days change what a person understands. Thirty days change what they do at four o'clock on a bad Tuesday.
What participants leave with
A precise account of what moves them and what it currently costs
A practice they have already run for thirty days — not a technique they were shown once
A recovery approach they can use the same afternoon
Their own written record of observations, which is what makes the change hold
And The Capability To:
Be fully affected and still fully operational
Stop being the person whose state the rest of the team has to work around
